About Spring, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Spring, Texas is a census-designated place within the City of Houston. Approximately 54,300 people call this community home, which is located in Harris County. The large area known as Spring was originally inhabited by Orcoquiza Native Americans, and the current community was founded in 1838. The Spring Independent School District serves the area and includes several elementary schools, three middle schools, and Carl Wusche Sr. High School. The region is also served by the Lone Star College System.

There are many great attractions and things to do in Spring. Animal lovers may like to visit TGR Exotics Wildlife Park, and families with young children will enjoy beating the heat at Wet ‘n’ Wild Splash Town. Stiillgoode, the Spring Antique Mall, and the Antique Gallery are popular antique shops in the area, and fresh produce is available at Atkinson Farms. Outdoor enthusiasts may also enjoy visiting Pundt Park or the Spring Creek Greenway.

Spring and the surrounding communities are popular destinations for snowbirds during the winter, as conditions are mild. Average daily highs reach about 55 degrees Fahrenheit, which is much warmer than other parts of the U.S. However, the region does experience bad weather periodically, which can include freezing rain, sleet, and cold temperatures. To stay warm at home during these times, residents need a reliable furnace or heat pump in place.

The short winter will led into a warm spring season, and residents need to take this time to prepare their homes for summer. Conditions in the region can be dangerously hot, with temperatures reaching the upper-90s and into triple digits. East Texas is known for having one of the hottest summers in the entire country, so failure to properly prepare could be dangerous. A central air conditioner with a high SEER rating is a necessity, and an experienced local HVAC technician can help residents to select the right system.
